صدرت Super Robot Wars F في أواخر التسعينات من نشر Banpresto وبمشاركة Winkysoft، وجاءت على PlayStation (1998) بعد إصدارها على ساتورن. مثّلت مع جزء المتابعة F Final خاتمة مرحلة كلاسيكية للسلسلة قبل الانتقال إلى عناوين أحدث، وخلّدت دخول Evangelion رسميًا إلى ساحات SRW بجانب عمالقة السوبر روبوت.
